David, The dobro player and guitar player poses (2nd, 3rd) have some great personality and convincing character to them. Good choices to draw from, as well. However, you are struggling with proportion and still hugging to the contours. I would like you to start a drawing like this in the future: Look where the top of the head is, then the bottom of the feet. Consider this when framing the pose onto a single page in your sketchbook. Instead of drawing what you are seeing, draw a wire-frame figure with a rounded torso and head. Don't try to think about clothing or detail.Look for more dynamic poses to begin this. Once you have a proportion and pose that looks good to you, then begin blocking in limbs with more consideration to clothing. This should help your proportions a little more.
